Gift Guide for Teachers 2024

Updated: Apr 20

We're rounding out another school year, and it's time to say thank you to those hard-working teachers who've cared for our children over the past nine months. We love group gifts organized by a room parent, but we're also including some individual gift ideas.

Gift Cards - Starbucks, Target, Barnes & Noble or a favorite restaurant are all welcome and practical ways to say "thank you."

Amazon Wish List - Does your child's teacher have an Amazon Wish List from which you can gift? If not, an Amazon gift card would allow them to purchase an item for their classroom next fall. So often, they spend their own money providing items for their students, so this would alleviate some future expenses.

Plant/Book Gift - If you know your teacher loves reading and plants, this book stack pot would be a perfect gift!

Beach Towel - It's summer, so a pool/beach themed gift would be thoughtful, especially if you can personalize a beach towel. I own six of these Dock & Bay towels, and I love them for trips because they fold up so small! They've held up well to two years of daily summer use, too.

Fan Gear - Are they a huge fan of their college team or a local professional team? A mug, dress socks or throw blanket featuring their favorite team would make a good gift or addition to a classroom basket.

Label Maker - Another practical gift, which could be paired with their favorite candy and beverage in a gift bag, is a label maker!

Last, but not least, is a personal note from you or your child. Share your heartfelt appreciation for all they've done in education this year.
