Monday Musings: Bring On Fall!

I can't think of a time I've been more ready for fall than this year. After an incredibly hot and miserable summer, I've literally squealed when thinking about the upcoming season! The anticipation of the cooler temps, apple and pumpkin infused scents and flavors and the coziness of a warm blanket with a good book fill me with happiness and excitement!

I'm prepared with fresh orchard apples and farmhouse pumpkin wax melts and pumpkin spice coffee from Walmart and Trader Joe's Harvest Blend Herbal Tea and Halloween Joe Joe's cookies. The last two weekend we've enjoyed spending time in our house with the fall smells lingering in the air. It's been awesome!

I'm hoping to purchase a new throw blanket for our family room. I'm considering the Better Homes & Garden Velvet Plush blanket from Walmart. I looks so soft and comfy!

I love to read this time of year. Two of my favorite romances that are perfect for this season are Lauren Lipton's Mating Rituals of the North American WASP and Linda Holmes' Evvie Drake Starts Over. I highly recommend both!
