In the past, I’d never been one to take vitamins and supplements consistently. I’ve gone through short phases, but not until this year, after consulting with my doctor, have I taken them for several months. Below are a few vitamins and supplements I’ve incorporated into my daily routine:
Magnesium with Zinc & Vitamin D3 - helps support blood flow, aids with mood and sleep, serves to reduce stress and improves bone and muscle strength
Ashwagandha - supports immune health, promotes stress reduction and is a mood enhancer
Fish Oil - supports heart health, helps with brain function, eye health and mood. This brand does not have an unpleasant odor or after taste.
Collagen gummies - supports hair, nail and skin health. I’ve also taken Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides in the past.
After several months, I can honestly say that I’m sleeping better, feeling less stress and anxiety and my hair and nails are stronger. I’m glad I’ve committed to this new practice. To avoid taking all of these vitamins and supplements at the same time, I’ve developed a manageable schedule: a few in the morning, fish oil after dinner and another supplement before bed.
Do you take daily supplements, and if so, which ones?
