A few weeks ago, I did a quick recap of my 24 for 2024. A few successes, and a lot of failures, but I was happy with accomplishing even a few goals during what was a very busy year.

This year, I plan to honor author Gretchen Rubin's tradition with a solid list of 25 goals for 2025! Creating easily quantifiable goals always makes it easier to evaluate whether or not you were successful in achieving them, so I tried to stick with numbers for as many as possible. Here are a few of my easily measurable goals:
Deep Clean 1 room per month (12 Months of Tidy)
Read 2 books per month (I have this goal every year!)
Fix 7 (2+5 for 25) pain points in our home (things like hat and water bottle lid storage, dysfunctional kitchen drawers, etc)
Buy 2 new blazers/jackets
Do 1 fun family activity per season
Shop small for 5 gifts this year
I have a few that will be far more difficult to evaluate at the end of the year, but they are important to me, so I added them anyway!
Work with kids to improve picking up after themselves
Try single-tasking more frequently
Focus on things I can control
I have 23 goals on my list so far, and it's not uncommon to add a few during the first part of the year. So, if you haven't determined how you want to establish goals for 2025, there's plenty of time! And if you need more information, here is an earlier post on the process.
