Our family traveled to London and Paris last month during our spring break. It was a lovely trip that I still think about daily. I spent quite a bit of time preparing for the adventure, therefore, I have a list of items that made our experience comfortable and enjoyable. If you're planning or hope to plan a trip to Europe soon, keep reading!
Bags/Purses -- Between the five us, we used Lululemon belt bags and a sling backpack. Both options are lightweight and perfect for keeping your wallet and personal items secure and accessible. I also recommend a canvas tote to carry your purchases while sight-seeing. Totes are great souvenirs so you can always buy one once you're there!
Clothes - Traveling internationally makes for long plane rides. These women and men athleisure pants are great for travel days, especially when sleeping on the plane.
Luggage and their accessories - We bought our kids new small, hardside spinner luggage to carry on. They are durable and offer plenty of space and inside pockets. I also highly recommend luggage tags (the colorful ones are great for identifying your bags on the carousel). Definitely purchase Apple AirTags for checked luggage. It took a while for our luggage to arrive when we landed at Heathrow. The AirTags offered peace of mind when we saw they made the trip over the Atlantic and were nearby.
Adapters - With five people, we required several outlets for our electronics. We had two rooms at both stops so I purchased a universal travel adapter for USB Type C for each room. I also purchased plug-in adapters for London and Paris for hair straighteners, block chargers, etc.
Mini Humidifier - Hotel rooms tend to be dry, and with the change in climate, it was nice to have a portable humidifier. This one fits nicely in any size bag and it's very effective.
