Are you hosting or attending a Halloween party this weekend? Need to bring a dish or feed a crowd? We're here to help!
If you're hosting, I have two go-to staples for Halloween meals:
Chili -- You can prep in the morning, throw it in the crockpot, and it's ready whenever people are hungry. I like classic beef/sausage and bean options or white chicken chili. Provide cheese, jalapenos and crackers for toppings, and you're all set!
Sandwiches -- Order premade from Costco or Jimmy Johns, and everyone can choose what they like.
Need to bring a side dish? This is the most fun! Savory or sweet?
Charcuterie Board - Select a great cheese, gourmet crackers, cashews and some dried fruit. Voila!
Snack Mix - The classic Halloween snack mix with Candy Corn, peanuts and pretzels. Try honey roasted cashews for a twist!
Cake Pops - Make these easy, tasty treats but cover them in Halloween sprinkles.
Popcorn - When in doubt, bring a sweet or a savory popcorn, and pour it into a fun themed bowl, like this tombstone.
I usually provide some fun holiday beer for guests. This year, my favorite is the Yuengling Oktoberfest!
Still not sure what to bring? Check out all of our recipes here on AndSheWrites--we have lots of options from previous years, including a pumpkin dip and snack mix that are calling my name!
