I've done a few of these high/low posts, and every time--they are so much fun!
I've got a few brands that I love for inspiration. Sometimes, I spring for these exact items or search for them secondhand, but sometimes I use them as inspiration. Here are a few examples:
This Veronica Beard Coralee top is classic and figure flattering. It could be worn to work or for a more casual lunch out.

But...it's pretty expensive for a cotton tee shirt, even a really nice one.
This White House Black Market shirt is still on the high side for a knit shirt but is less than half the price!

I love anything quilted, and MZ Wallace is known for their stylish, sturdy quilted bags. This weekender is a classic.

However, I don't travel all that much, and $300+ seems frivolous. However, this very similar bag from Quince delivers all those features and fashion for a third of the price!

For athletic gear, I have a few items that I splurge for: joggers, leggings and jackets.
For t-shirts and shorts, I'm looking for a discount. They get dingy more easily, especially if I'm wearing a lighter color.
This Lululemon Back in Action dupe is a perfect example of a "low" that works for me. The back is cute and it washes well.

Enjoy some high/low shopping for spring!
