Tuesday Morning Tidy: Mental Health Check-in

I'm probably doing this check-in more for me than you but...how are you doing? Feeling overwhelmed, sad or anxious for the kids to go back to school?


I'm reminding you (and myself) to practice self care. A few things you can do to manage any unpleasant feelings:


  • Spend 15 minutes meditating, praying or completing breathing exercises

  • Take a walk, practice yoga or work out for 30 minutes

  • Listen to one of your favorite albums or rewatch an episode of your favorite show

  • Reach out to a friend and make plans to hang out, or if they live out-of-town, schedule a time for a call to catch up

  • Take 30 minutes to read or listen to a book (you can also do this while you exercise)



It's always nice to invest time in your mental health.
