Tuesday Morning Tidy: Summer Capsule Wardrobe

As you may know, I LOVE the concept of a capsule wardrobe. It is so much easier to get dressed every day when I have all the basic pants, shoes, shirts and neutral jackets I need to pull an outfit together each day.
Every season, I update any old, worn or outdated staples with a couple of key updates. I may grab a trendy top or accessory and a new pair of shoes, but that's typically about it! By investing in high-quality basic items, my wardrobe is pretty classic and doesn't need a major overhaul.
For this summer, I'm looking for some wide leg crop pants in a neutral color, like these from Anthropologie and Banana Republic:
I think I could wear them for a casual day in the office or to any spring and summer gathering! They seem very versatile and come in a variety of fabrics and colors.
Last summer, I purchased a crochet cardigan, and I find it really useful. I'm looking for a crochet or textured blazer this year, something like this one from Social Threads:
Finally, I need a new pair of comfortable, but cute, sandals! I always love Birkenstocks for their timeless quality, but I may also try out some of these fun Sam Edelman sandals.

So, rather than grabbing all the new trends, I'm choosing again this season to select a few updates to my capsule wardrobe!
