I'm always a sucker for romantic comedies, but at Christmastime I love them even more! If you're hoping to snuggle under a cozy blanket this weekend, and feel the warmth and swoon of a holiday romance, I've got a list of movies for you (mostly classics from the 90s and early 2000s).
Serendipity - It starts with a meet-cute and quickly turns into chasing destiny. The main characters have great chemistry in New York City.
The Holiday - Two women swap their homes at Christmastime. I love the storylines about unexpected love and friendship. An impressive cast and the locations are pretty awesome, too.
While You Were Sleeping - It starts with a lie and then turns into chemistry and a radical turn of events for a family's two brothers (and one woman).
Love Actually - Multiple storylines — some happy and some sad — of characters living in London during the holiday season.
Four Christmases - This one is not short on humor — divorced families, complicated relationships and holiday romance.
You've Got Mail - One of my favorite enemies-to-lovers storylines. It's about books and finding love in the most unexpected way.
When Harry Met Sally - It's a New Year's movie and a classic about long-time friends and their evolving friendship. It's packed with memorable quotes and humor.
Bridget Jones's Diary - Great cast and comedic scenes you'll never forget. I love the setting — London at Christmastime.
