The thing I love most about fall is the feeling of it--the cooler air complimented by the coziness at home. This past weekend, I brought out my fall decor and embraced the change of seasons.
I wait until October for Halloween decor, and instead focus on autumn accents to warm up the house after the natural light and fresh flowers of summer start to wane. This means I fill baskets with pumpkins and set candles on timers to flicker in the evening. My oldest kiddo even put out orange twinkle lights to read by at night.
Here are a few of my favorite cozy and comforting accents:
Pumpkins to fill baskets and layer on consoles
Here's a larger set at a lower price point.
There are also lots of tutorials on how to take old flannels, sweaters or fabric to make your own!
We have these candles on our back patio, but they can also set the mood indoors as well!
I love this vase filler, and it would work all season and in any setting with its neutral palette.
I've shared this one before, but I do love this pumpkin pillow! It's perfect with an Ikea insert and adds an understated element to the couch.
I love the feel of these accents, and the feel they give to our house. They add a layer of warmth that helps transition us to the cooler weather and darker evenings.
