We've shared gift ideas, holiday books (here and here) and favorite sounds of the season. Today, we're sharing a couple of the items on our Christmas lists!
Fay's List:
Dudley Stephens Park Slope: Last year, I received the Cobble Hill (tunic length) in black. It was, and continues to be, a great piece for working from home and in the office. It's versatile, warm and has washed well! I've had my eye on the Park Slope in pink for a long time, and I know it would be a great addition to my wardrobe!
Corduroy Baseball Hat: I wear a baseball hat all summer long! However, the hats in my collection are very sporty and almost all have logos. I'm hoping for a wintry cap--something other than a knit beanie to wear this season.
Books: I'm hoping to catch up on some of my bookshelf collection during the holiday break, and add to it with a copy of Caste: The Origins of our Discontents. We've featured this a couple of times on the blog already, but I still haven't read it. Maybe in 2022!
Samantha's List:
2022 Planner: I’ve been eyeing 1Canoe2, Papier & Rifle Paper Co.’s planners. I’d love one of them to help me get more organized in the new year.
Slippers/House Shoes: Our new home has hardwood or tile floors through the entire house. I’ve noticed in recent months that my feet and knees have been achy and stiff as a result. Slippers with support or hard soles would be good to have, especially in the colder months.
Going There by Katie Couric: This memoir has received rave reviews and I’m eager to learn about her life and professional career in her own words. Katie’s voice and presence have been a staple in broadcast news for most of my life.
