A couple months ago, we shared our families’ suncare favorites. In addition to those must-haves, I'm sharing a few more skincare products that my family uses seasonally and year-round. They are important staples in our home.
Aquaphor Healing Ointment (Advanced Therapy) -- I've been using this product religiously since my oldest was born. Our pediatrician at the time recommended it (with samples) for my newborn's dry skin, and for scratches she inflicted to her face with her fingernails (when the newborn gloves would come off). It was simply amazing at treating her skin. We've been using Aquaphor for years for dry skin and mild cases of psoriasis and eczema. It's a greasy ointment that takes some time to dry so I highly recommend buying it with the touch-free applicator as displayed in the photo.
CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser - I have sensitive facial skin as does my middle child. I suffer from mild redness and she has dry skin. We both use this facial cleanser in the morning and night and it makes a huge difference in the health and appearance of our skin. We've tried several other products and nothing works quite as well as this CeraVe product.
CeraVe Hydrating Mineral Facial Sunscreen - We recently returned home from Florida and we used this sunscreen everyday. It is by far the best nonprescription facial sunscreen we have ever used. It protects your face from the harsh sun, but also doesn't cause breakouts, dry or oily skin, which are so common with sunscreens.
Burt's Bee's Ultra Conditioning Lip Ointment - We use this regularly to treat dry and cracked lips. It's all natural and works really well no matter the season or cause of the your lips' condition.
